About Pen Wiwar
Our Story
Pen Wiwar was born from a love for Wales, its language, culture, landscapes and natural beauty.
Founded by Dan Grant after returning home to North Wales, the brand was created to capture that feeling of hiraeth, pride and connection to Cymru.
Every design is a celebration of the places, memories and moments that make Wales so special.
Sustainability
Our love for Wales shapes the choices we make as a brand.
From organic cotton and recycled materials to local printing, compostable mailers and recycled paper packaging, we are always looking for ways to reduce waste and make more considered decisions.
Sustainability has been part of Pen Wiwar from day one, and it will continue to guide how we grow.

Pen Wiwar is inspired by the landscapes, wildlife and natural beauty of Wales, so protecting these places matters to us.
Through our designs, community and support for causes that align with our values, we want to encourage a deeper connection to the mountains, coastlines, biodiversity and culture that make Cymru so special.
Our Artists
Every Pen Wiwar design is shaped by Welsh artists who bring their own style, interpretation and connection to the places we celebrate.
From Eryri to Pen Llŷn and beyond, each collection is more than a print on clothing. It is a creative interpretation of Wales, shaped by local talent and made to carry a real sense of place.
Printed in Wales
All Pen Wiwar clothing and accessories are printed in Penygroes, North Wales, by Peris and Corr, an eco-friendly screen-printing studio based on the edge of Eryri National Park.
Working locally allows us to stay closely involved in the process, support another small Welsh business, and make sure every design is finished with the care it deserves.
